Global search finds submissions, quotes, policies, events, exposures, people, and organizations in your current company. You only see records you have permission to view.
Search appears in the sidebar when global search is enabled for your company.

Find a record

  1. Select Search at the top of the sidebar, or press Cmd+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows.
  2. Type at least two characters. Results update as you type, with matching text highlighted.
  3. Select a result to open it. You can also use the up and down arrow keys to select a result and Enter to open it.
Search looks for your phrase within record names and the additional fields configured for your company. Capitalization does not matter. For example, search by part of a name, or by an email address if your company has made email searchable.

Narrow the results

Select a record type above the results to search only that type. Hold Cmd on Mac or Ctrl on Windows while selecting types to add or remove them. Select All to search every available type again. Your browser remembers your selection. Search shows up to 20 results, with the best matches first. If you do not see the record you need, add more of its name or narrow the record types. If nothing matches, check your spelling and selected types, or try the record’s name instead of another field.
